Decorative Mouldings

High Density Polyurethane (HDP) is intended to be used  as a replacement for, and in the same manner as architectural wood millwork, and the variety of available standard designs is in the thousands. Balustrades, door and window surrounds, moldings, corbels, columns & shutters are a small list of available items. And, custom special order molds are available, including curved and radius configurations made to your design, as well as factory-fabricated assemblies, making the offering nearly limitless.  Spectis, Fypon, and Focal Point Products are all examples of top-quality HDP manufacturers available from Millwork Direct, Inc.

HDP has a similar density to white pine, at around 14 to 18 pounds per cubic foot, and the material has a closed cell structure which provides protection from most solvents and is impervious to rot and insect infestation. Products are manufactured with a foam core and integral hard shell skin, with a factory primer coat which provides an excellent substrate for durable finishes.  Also, more traditional wood moldings available upon request.

Add to all that the expertise of our millwork specialists, and you have assurance that you are getting the right product at the right price for your project, drop-shipped directly to your site. Send us your project specifications today, and let us help you realize your greatest expectations!
